Starting an online e-commerce store can be a great side hustle for a couple of reasons. First, there is no experience or capital needed. Second, you can design the store to work with whatever your hobbies are or what you want them to be about. Third, this is an easy one as far as side hustle ideas go because your customers don’t come knocking at your door, and the only time you need to put in hours is when you are making your products, providing customer service, and marketing your site.

Some of the pros could be that you have more control over how it works when you create your own business. You also have more freedom in terms of pricing and what products your site offers.

81. Buy an Existing Online Store or Website

Are you a well-trained expert who has experience in law enforcement, martial arts training, or security force trained? If you know self-defense, there is always someone looking to learn how to protect themselves.

When I worked as a police officer, my Seargent opened his own gun range where he hired several police officers to teach self-defense classes for women as another service for those looking to learn self-defense.

In addition to learning how to defend yourself from an attacker, you might consider other class topics such as:

The hourly rate will depend on your experience level and how many hours you are willing to work during a particular event. You can make up to $60k in one night if you do 10-12 hours of service!

You’ll want to invest in some equipment like speakers, microphones, laptops, and other equipment needed to put on a great show, but these items don’t cost a lot of money. You can pick up DJ equipment starting at around $400 on Amazon for the basics, plus you’ll need to have some lighting, tablecloths, and other decors as well, which should run about $1k-$2k depending on the quality.

If you want to do karaoke, too, make sure to get the equipment needed for that type of DJ service. There are many sites online that will help you price this out and offer suggestions on how to build out your basic starter setup.
